Great National Cause: "France is not yet enough of a sporting nation" (A. Oudéa-Castéra)

"France is a great country of sportsmen and women, but is still not, or not yet enough of, a sporting nation. We need to put sport more at the heart of our society and live it. Sport is not about speeches or protocols, it's about experiencing all the benefits it brings to our lives," declared Amélie Oudéa-Castéra, French Minister for Sport and the Olympic & Paralympic Games, at the end of the Trophée du Vivre Ensemble (Living Together Trophy) organised at the Centre sportif Géo André in Paris (FRA) on 03/01/2023.

The event was organised by the Ligue de Football Professionnel and the Fondation pour le Sport Inclusif (Foundation for Inclusive Sport) ahead of the 2023 Trophée des Champions, which will see Paris Saint-Germain (2022-23 French champions) take on Toulouse FC (2022-23 Coupe de France winners) at the Parc des Princes the same day (03/01/2023, kick-off at 20:45 CET). The initiative was also supported by the Foundations of the two Ligue 1 Uber Eats clubs.
