esports: CIC (bank) official partner of Karmine Corp for 3 years (2024-2026)

Crédit Industriel et Commercial (CIC), a French banking group, has become an official partner of French esports club La Karmine Corp for three years (2024-2026), announced the organisation co-founded by content creators Kamel "Kameto" Kebir and Amine "Prime" Mekri on 03/01/2024.

The CIC joins the portfolio of partners (Red Bull, Michelin, Orange, Fitness Park, etc.) of the "KCorp", a club whose League of Legends team will play at the highest European level (LEC) of Riot Games' competitive circuit from 2024. Karmine Corp will also become "the first esports structure resident in a European arena", at the Arènes de l'Agora in Évry-Courcouronnes (Essonne, FRA), from summer 2024.

The banking group is already involved in esports, notably as a major partner of the French League of Legends (LFL, organised under licence by Webedia) since 2019. Since 2018, CIC has been organising the "CIC esport Business Awards" call for projects aimed at "accelerating the esport economy and encouraging innovative entrepreneurs in the sector".
