"It's a great time to be a basketball fan in France. There have never been so many people playing basketball (the FFBB has recorded an all-time record of 711,000 licence-holders in 2022-23) and all our indicators are on the up. France is the leading country in Europe and the Middle East (EME) in terms of merchandising, sponsorship and the number of members on NBA ID (the NBA's loyalty programme), and the second country in terms of the value of media rights (behind Spain)," said Bastien Lacheny, vice-president of media distribution for the National Basketball Association in Europe and the Middle East, to News Tank on 03/01/2024.

The North American league will be hosting the "NBA Paris Game 2024 presented by Revolut" at the Accor Arena (Paris, 12^th arrondissement) on Thursday 11/01/2024 (20:00 CET). This will be the third regular season game organised by the NBA in Paris after 2020 and 2023.
