LALIGA: agreement with XS2Event (ticketing) to encourage the arrival of foreign spectators in Spain

LALIGA and the ticketing platform XS2Event have entered into a partnership to encourage foreign spectators to visit the stadiums of Spanish clubs, announced the Spanish Professional Football League on 04/01/2024.

Club Atlético de Madrid, Sevilla FC, Real Sociedad, Athletic Club Bilbao, UD Almería, UD Las Palmas, RCD Mallorca and Girona FC are the eight first division clubs to be part of the initiative, as of 04/01/2024.

"XS2Event purchases 10 advance tickets for each match of the 2023-24 LALIGA EA SPORTS season from the club and makes them available on its platform to help provide access to all international fans. Furthermore, the specific agreement with each club can be modified by increasing the number of tickets bought or by offering additional immersive experiences such as a museum visit or stadium tour," explained LALIGA.

"This pilot project, led through the Club Office, once again demonstrates LALIGA's support for its clubs in generating revenue and encouraging attendance at LALIGA EA SPORTS stadiums," added the league.
