DAZN: Walker Jacobs named president of the platform in the USA & first global chief revenue officer

Walker Jacobs has been appointed as global chief revenue officer of DAZN, a newly created position that he will hold in addition to serving as president of the OTT sports platform in the United States, announced the streaming service on 08/01/2024.

Walker Jacobs will head up Team Whistle, the US sports media and entertainment company acquired by DAZN in February 2023 when it acquired pay-TV group Eleven (which has owned Team Whistle since 29/03/2021). "Team Whistle has an original content slate of over 50 sports shows and a creator network that generates five billion views per month across YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, and Facebook," explained the platform.

"As president of DAZN US, Walker will lead business development in this key market and look for new commercial opportunities for DAZN to expand its US presence," added the platform.
