Stadiums: ESSMA Summit 2024 at the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam (Netherlands) on 23 & 24/01/2024

The 2024 edition of the ESSMA Summit, an event dedicated to the stadium industry, will take place at the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam (Netherlands) on 23 and 24/01/2024.

The AFC Ajax (Eredivisie) stadium, which aims to be carbon neutral by 2030, will host 12 themed workshops, four focus groups (safety and security, marketing and retail, facilities management and operations, leagues and federations), one-to-one sessions with experts, as well as a tour of its technical facilities and retail and hospitality areas.

Speakers include Olivier Gerardin (LFP), Arnaud Delpech (Paris Saint-Germain), John Beattie (Arsenal FC), Vicky Jaycock (Everton FC), Julien Hochedez (RC Strasbourg Alsace) and Francesco Gianello (Juventus FC), who will be taking part in the workshops and debates.

For the first time, the event will also feature an awards ceremony, the ESSMA Stadium Industry Awards. The awards will be presented for "four key categories:
• Marketing & Commerce Initiative of the Year;
• Sustainability Initiative of the Year;
• Safety & Security Initiative of the Year;
