CAF: Unilever named global sponsor of the TotalEnergies AFCON 2023 & Women's AFCON Morocco 2024

Unilever, a Dutch-British group specialised in consumer products (food, cosmetics, hygiene, etc.), has become a global partner of the TotalEnergies AFCON 2023 to be held in the Ivory Coast from 13/01 to 11/02/2024, announced the Confederation of African Football on 09/01/2024. The agreement also covers the TotalEnergies Women's Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2024.

"This partnership with CAF was forged by Unilever International, Unilever's global business unit in close partnership with Unilever's personal care business group," said CAF. As "exclusive personal care consumer goods partner" Unilever will showcase its deodorant and cosmetics brands Rexona (also known as Shield, Sure), Dove, Dove Men+Care and Axe.

Unilever has the status of global partner, the second level in the sponsorship hierarchy of the TotalEnergies AFCON 2023, alongside 1XBet (CYP, sports betting), Puma (GER, footballs and officials' kits), Visa (USA, payment solutions) and Orange (FRA, telecoms).
