Italy: 2023 edition of UEFA Licensing Manual approved by the FIGC federal council

The 2023 edition of the UEFA Licensing Manual was approved, at the request of the European body, by the FIGC Federal Council at its last meeting of 2023, on 20/12/2023.

The document contains the "criteria and requirements for obtaining a licence to participate" in European competitions (Champions League, Europa League, Europa Conference League). The regulatory changes only concern economic and financial criteria.

The new Italian national licence system for 2024-25 was also unanimously approved at the same meeting, which was attended by Gabriele Gravina, president of the Italian Football Federation.
