RFEF: a campaign to promote women's football in Saudi Arabia during the Supercopa de España

The Real Federacion Espanola de Futbol has launched a series of initiatives to promote women's football in Saudi Arabia to coincide with the Supercopa de España being held in the country from 10 to 14/01/2024, announced the RFEF on 08/01/2024.

Among the Spanish Federation's initiatives are:
• Training for coaches, notably led by Spanish national women's team coach Montse Tomé
• Conferences led by women
• The organising of women's matches and a meeting with the Saudi national team

"In addition to these initiatives, the Department of Equality, Social Responsibility and Sustainability considered it essential to continue making the matches organised by the Federation inclusive, which is why it will also offer an audio-description service for blind people at the three Supercopa matches via the RFEF's dedicated app," explained the Spanish Federation.

The semi-finals, Real Madrid CF - Club Atlético de Madrid (on 10) and FC Barcelona - Club Atlético Osasuna (on 11), as well as the final of the 2024 Supercopa de España, on 14/01/2024, will take place at the King Saud University Stadium in…
