TotalEnergies AFCON 2023: broadcasting in 180 countries, beIN broadcaster in France, USA & Canada

The TotalEnergies AFCON 2023, in the Ivory Coast from 13/01 to 11/02/2024, will be broadcast in 180 countries, according to the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on 10/01/2024. The previous edition, held in Cameroon in 2022 (initially scheduled for 2021, but postponed to 2022 due to the Covid-19 pandemic), was broadcast to 157 countries.

In France, the competition will be broadcast in full and exclusively on the channels of the pay-TV group beIN SPORTS France. The Qatari group holds the broadcasting rights to CAF's competitions, including the Africa Cup of Nations, for the 2017-2028 cycle at an estimated cost of $415m (€379m). The agreement covers more than 40 countries in the MENA and APAC zones, as well as France, the United States and Canada.

The competition's international broadcasters include:
• The pay-TV operator Sky and the broadcasting group BBC in the United Kingdom
• the OTT platform LALIGA+ in Spain
• Italian pay-TV channel Sportitalia in Italy
• the German pay-TV channel Sportdigital
• the Brazilian audiovisual group Grupo Bandeirantes de Comunicação (Band) in Brazil
