FC Barcelona: Barça Legends match against former world stars in Chongqing (China) on 20/01/2024

Barça Legends, a team of former FC Barcelona players (LALIGA EA Sports), will play a friendly against "a world star team" in Chongqing (China) on Saturday 20/01/2024 (19:00 local time, 12:00 CET).

The match, held at Chongqing's Longxing Football Stadium, will be the Catalan club's first in China since the first team played a pre-season match in the summer of 2010.

"Barça are the most followed European football team on social networks in China thanks to its native platforms (WeChat, Weibo, Douyin, Toutiao, Xiaohongshu and Bilibli) where it has almost 16 million followers, ahead of Chelsea FC and Manchester United FC (Premier League). This leading position is thanks to the commitment to producing specific content for the Chinese market and audience," said the Catalan club.

The match comes a year after the club announced a regional (3^rd level) partnership with Daka, a Chinese manufacturer of trading cards, for three seasons (2022-2025).
