France/DAZN: 2 National 1 games broadcast per matchday & a distribution agreement with L'Équipe

DAZN has acquired the rights to broadcast, in France, two National 1 games per matchday for the remainder of the 2023-24 season from the Fédération Française de Football, announced the OTT sports platform on 11/01/2024.

DAZN will broadcast one match from the Friday night multiplex (19:30 CET) on an exclusive basis, as well as the Monday night match in co-broadcast with the pay and free-TV group Canal+, the holder of National 1 media rights for the 2020-2024 cycle (Monday night match and the three multiplexes of the season) in France. The other matches will be broadcast on the FFF TV platform.

The agreement begins with the broadcast of the Red Star FC - US Orléans Loiret Football game, on Matchday 17 of the 2023-24 National 1 season, scheduled for Friday 12/01/2024 (19:30 CET). The platform will then co-broadcast the FC Sochaux-Montbéliard - Nîmes Olympique match with the pay-TV channel Canal+ Foot on Monday 15/01/2024 (18:15 CET).
