Basketball: several initiatives led by the NBA, FFBB & LNB with a view to the Paris 2024 Olympics

The National Basketball Association, the Fédération Française de Basketball and the Ligue Nationale de Basket are extending their collaboration initiated in 2023 with a series of initiatives "to expand youth basketball development in France ahead of the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic and Paralympic games," announced the NBA on 10/01/2024.

"The programming, which will be hosted in collaboration with the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and the Union Nationale du Sport Scolaire (UNSS), will build on Jr. NBA programming that has reached more than a quarter of a million French youth over the past decade. As part of the announcement, the NBA, the FFBB and the LNB plan to launch a new player development program to develop elite-level prospects in the LNB, which the FFBB and the LNB plan to share more information about in the coming months," explained the NBA.
