AJ Auxerre: expansion project for the Stade de l'Abbé-Deschamps with capacity increased to 20,000

• A project to expand the Louault stand, located opposite the main stand at the Stade de l'Abbé-Deschamps, by 2025, in order to increase the capacity of the stadium from 17,500 to 20,000 seats
• The opening of the club's museum "in the first half of 2024"
• A project for a hotel and a medical and sports centre within the Plaine Sportive de l'Auxerrois, which would be equipped with a footbridge linking it to the Auxerrexpo (conference centre) and the Auxerre university campus

These were the main points raised by Baptiste Malherbe, president of AJ Auxerre (Ligue 2 BKT), in his wishes to the club's partners on 10/01/2024, as reported by French local daily newspaper l'Yonne Républicaine.

The current capacity of the stadium is not expected to be reduced on matchdays during the construction period, according to Baptiste Malherbe.
