FC Bayern Munich: Bitpanda (trading) platinum & official crypto trading partner from 2023-24

Bitpanda, an Austrian trading platform, has become the "official crypto trading partner" of FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) as part of a "multi-year partnership" from the 2023-24 season, announced the two parties on 12/01/2024.

Bitpanda has the status of "platinum partner" the second level in the German champions' sponsorship hierarchy, alongside Allianz (insurance), Konami (video games), Visit Rwanda (tourism), Lidl (retail) and Tipico (sports betting).

As part of the agreement, Bitpanda will benefit from "extensive TV exposure", visibility in and around the Allianz Arena (75,000 capacity), and "the opportunity to work with players as part of wider branding initiatives". The partnership will begin when Bayern host TSG Hoffenheim, Matchday 17 of the 2023-24 Bundesliga, on 12/01/2024.
