Olympique de Marseille: departure of Pedro Iriondo, board member in charge of strategy & development

Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) has announced the departure of Pedro Iriondo (ESP), member of the management board in charge of strategy and development, on 13/01/2024.

"Pedro Iriondo, who joined Olympique de Marseille in 2021, is leaving the club after having contributed to the implementation of strategic and structuring projects, the creation of the Treizième Homme programme and the development of the women's section," explained OM.

Pedro Iriondo's departure comes just over three months after that of Javier Ribalta (ESP), the Marseille club's former director of football, who was deeply affected by the generally hostile atmosphere during a meeting at the Robert Louis-Dreyfus training centre on 18/09/2023 between the management (represented by the two Spaniards in addition to Pablo Longoria and Stéphane Tessier) and representatives of several supporters' groups contesting the club's management.
