esports: 4^th edition of the eLigue 1 Tour, an international amateur tournament in January 2024

The Ligue de Football Professionnel has presented the fourth season of the eLigue 1 Tour, its international esports competition dedicated to amateur players, on 17/01/2024.

The competition will take place in eight geographical zones: North America, Latin America, Morocco, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Kenya, the Middle East and China. "Players will choose their favourite Ligue 1 Uber Eats team and compete on EA SPORTS FC 24 (EA SPORTS FC Online for China), using the same rules and game mode, on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC consoles," explained the LFP.

The fourth season of the eLigue 1 Tour began with the qualifiers in China on 03/01/2024. Qualifying rounds in North America, Latin America, Morocco and the Middle East will take place on 24 and 25/02/2024, while those for the Ivory Coast, Senegal and Kenya will be held on 02 and 03/03/2024. The top eight players in each zone will win an all-inclusive trip to France to play in the tournament finals at the studios of esport marketing agency Freaks 4U Gaming in Paris over the weekend of 19-21/04/2024.
