National 1/Red Star FC: inauguration of the new East stand at the Stade Bauer (Saint-Ouen, FRA)

The Town Council of Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine (Seine Saint-Denis), the Métropole du Grand Paris, Groupe Réalités (real estate) and Red Star FC (National 1) inaugurated the new east stand at Stade Bauer on 18/01/2024.

The work, completed "on schedule, increases the stadium's capacity by 50% (from 3,000 to 4,794 spectators) and once again provides public access to the stadium via rue du Docteur Bauer". The work is being carried out as part of the stadium's renovation project, presented in July 2021. It also follows the sale of the Stade Bauer, previously owned by the town of Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, to Groupe Réalités (real estate) for €26.5m (excl. VAT) on 18/05/2021.

Following delivery of the South Stand in September 2023 and the East Stand in January 2024, the project, which will increase the capacity of the Stade Bauer to 9,834, includes the installation of a hybrid natural grass pitch and the reconstruction of the West and North Stands (scheduled for completion by the end of 2025).
