FFF: Amel Bouzoura appointed head of social commitment from 01/03/2024

Amel Bouzoura, director of sponsorship and sports partnerships at La Française des Jeux, has been appointed head of social commitment at the Fédération Française de Football (French Football Federation) effective from 01/03/2024, announced the FFF on 18/01/2024.

"Her recruitment is part of the implementation of the Social Commitment Plan presented by Philippe Diallo in October 2023. The FFF's new engagement department is responsible for initiating and coordinating the Federation's societal, educational and environmental commitment initiatives, as well as its sporting initiatives, in conjunction with all the departments, the Ligue du football amateur (amateur football league) and the voluntary sector," said the Federation.

On 19/10/2023, Philippe Diallo presented a major federal plan focusing on three areas:
• the fight against sexist and sexual violence, homophobia, racism and all forms of violence and discrimination
• promoting citizenship, diversity and inclusion through football
• adapting to climate challenges
