Deloitte Money League: a record €10.5bn (+14%) generated by the Top 20 European clubs in 2022-23

The total revenue generated by the Top 20 European clubs in 2022-23 reached a record level of €10.5bn, an increase of 14% on the €9.2bn recorded in 2021-22, according to the UK branch of the audit and consultancy firm Deloitte in the 2024 edition of its "Football Money League" report, which presents details of the revenue (excluding transfers) of the 20 European clubs that generated the most during the 2022-23 season, on 25/01/2023.

With sales of €831.4m, Real Madrid CF (LALIGA EA Sports) regained first place, which had been held for the past two seasons by Manchester City FC (Premier League). The Mancunian club is now in second place (€825.9m), ahead of Paris Saint-Germain (€801.8m, Ligue 1 Uber Eats), which has joined the podium for the first time.

The biggest jump in the Top 10 was made by FC Barcelona, who climbed from 7th to 4th place in 2024 (€800.1m). FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga, €744m), in 6th place, is the leading German representative, while no Serie A TIM club features in the Top 10 (Juventus FC is 11th, €432.4m), as in 2023.
