Premier League: MG Motor official automotive partner of Arsenal FC from 2023-24

MG Motor, a British car manufacturer owned by the Chinese group Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC), is to become an "official automotive partner" (2^nd level) of Arsenal FC (Premier League) from the 2023-24 season as part of a "multi-year" agreement, announced the club on 26/01/2024.

The partnership covers both the London club's men's and women's (Barclays Women's Super League) teams, and includes visibility at the Emirates Stadium (London, England) and Meadow Park, where the women's team plays the majority of their games. "MG and Arsenal will also work together to create engaging content designed to engage the club’s global supporter base," explained the two parties.

The announcement of this agreement comes two weeks after that linking MG Motor to Bayer 04 Leverkusen (Bundesliga), also as an automotive partner, from 2023-24. The car manufacturer is also a major partner and sleeve sponsor of Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) until 30/06/2024 under a partnership signed on 25/06/2021.
