Jannik Sinner won the 2024 Australian Open over Russia's Daniil Medvedev (3-6, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3) on 28/01/2024. In doing so, the 22-year-old won his first Grand Slam title, which carries a prize money of AU$3.15m (€1.94m), and became the highest-ranked Italian ever in the ATP rankings (4th place).
