Bundesliga: Japanese HIS (travel agency) regional partner of Borussia Dortmund until 2016-17

The Japanese travel agency HIS has become a regional partner of Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) until the end of the 2016-17 season, the club announced on 13/01/2015.

The contract is estimated at €400,000 per year. The tour will include marketing, to the Japanese public, packages including match tickets for the German's club fixtures at the Signal Iduna Park (80,500 seats). HIS wishes in particular to rely on the presence of the club's two Japanese players, Shinji Kagawa and Mitsuru Maruoka to communicate in Japan. Borussia Dortmund offers a Japanese version of its website and its online store.

Borussia Dortmund opens an office in Singapore

  • The club has opened an office in Singapore in order to communicate more easily with its Asian fans, promote press relations with the local media, and to develop business partnerships in the region, stated the club on 20/06/2014.
  • The Singaporean Suresh Letchmanan is the director of the sales office.
  • "We believe that there is strong growth potential for Borussia Dortmund internationally," said Hans-Joachim Watzke, CEO of the club, on 20/08/2014.
