Italy/FIGC: provisional 2024 budget unanimously adopted, with revenue forecast at €206.9m

The provisional 2024 budget was unanimously approved by the FIGC Federal Council on 30/01/2024. The budget forecasts revenue of €206.9m, record revenue from partnerships, an increase of several million euros in refereeing costs (unchanged for over 10 years), a gross operating margin of €20m, pre-tax income of €1.18m and operating income of €320,000.

"The growth of the Federation's economic production value at a time when qualification for the World Cup was missed, shows that there is an emphasised vocation of our political activity that aims at a different dimension than sporting results. Sporting results remain fundamental in order to give enthusiasm, but we focus a great deal on innovative and modern planning," explained Gabriele Gravina, president of the Italian Football Federation.
