Tennis: Sky to launch Sky Sports Tennis with over 4,000 matches/year in UK & Ireland on 11/02/2024

Sky has launched "Sky Sports Tennis", a dedicated tennis channel to broadcast "over 4,000 matches from more than 80 tournaments a year" in the UK and Ireland, announced the pay-TV operator on 30/01/2024.

The channel will be available from 11/02/2024 for subscribers to the Sky Sports pay-TV package, via the NOW commitment-free OTT service, subscribers to the Virgin Media telecommunications operator and on the EE TV digital platform (BT's IPTV service).

Sky Sports Tennis will broadcast the ATP Tour and WTA Tour competitions, for which the British operator holds the rights in several territories (including the UK and Ireland) over the 2024-2028 cycle, as well as the US Open Grand Slam tournament (until 2027). The car manufacturer Lexus (Toyota Group) is the "presenting partner" of Sky Sports Tennis and will sponsor coverage of the various matches.
