Mediapro: Laura Fernández Espeso (The Mediapro Studio) general manager from 01/01/2025

Laura Fernández Espeso, current CEO of The Mediapro Studio (a subsidiary of the group dedicated to the production of films, series and documentaries), will succeed Juan Ruiz de Gauna as general manager of the Spanish audiovisual group as a whole from 01/01/2025, announced Mediapro on 29/01/2024.

As part of this restructuring, a number of other changes have been announced, all consisting of internal promotions:
• Alberto Vía, CEO of Overon (broadcast technology), will replace José Luis Rubio as head of broadcast and media services, also at the beginning of 2025;
• two new departments will be created with immediate effect: 'Channels and Platforms' (planning, production and distribution of all existing channels), headed by Dani Margalef, and 'Mediapro Experiences' (new formats), headed by David Xirau;
• Oliver Seibert will be in charge of the sports rights agency within Mediapro.
