FIFA Football Museum: 273,000 visitors welcomed in 2023, a record since its opening in 2016

The FIFA Football Museum in Zurich (Switzerland) welcomed 273,000 visitors in 2023, a record since its opening in 2016, announced the world governing body on 01/02/2024.

The facility, which welcomed "more than 7,000 school children" (free admission), offered public screenings of matches from the Women's World Cup 2023, an exhibition on former Italian international Paolo Rossi and the "211 Cultures. One Game", a tribute to the footballing cultures of FIFA's 211 member associations.

"A further 350,000 online visitors explored the museum’s digital exhibitions, while six million fans around the world engaged with the museum’s cultural and educational content over the course of the year," said FIFA.

"The museum also embraced the digital realm with the launch of its first virtual reality experience.
