Italy: Enilive (mobility) succeeds TIM as title sponsor of the Serie A for 2024-2027 (€22m/year)

Enilive, a mobility brand owned by Italian energy supplier Eni, has acquired the naming rights to the Italian top flight for three seasons from 2024-25 (i.e. the 2024-2027 cycle), announced Lega Serie A, the competition's organising body, following its general meeting on 05/02/2024. Under the agreement, which includes an option to extend the contract for an additional two seasons (until 2028-29), the competition will be known as the "Serie A Enilive", according to Italian media the same day.

Enilive succeeds Italian telecommunications operator Telecom Italia (TIM), the title sponsor of the Italian league since the 1998-99 season. The brand pays Lega Serie A €20m per season to use its name for the "Serie A TIM" over the 2021-2024 cycle. This annual sum is set to rise to €22m under the contract signed with Enilive, according to Italian media.

The agreement with Enilive makes no mention of the League's esports competition, the eSerie A TIM (launched in 2020), or the Primavera competitions (competitions for 15-21 year-olds) which carry the name of the TIMVision brand (a streaming…
