MLS: BMW becomes a stadium partner of the San Jose Earthquakes until 2019

The German automobile brand BMW became a partner of Avaya Stadium (18,000 seats), the new enclosure of the San Jose Earthquakes (MLS, USA-CAN), until 2019, announced the California franchise on 12/01/2015. The contract was finalised with the American Pivot Marketing Agency.

A large section of the stadium will be named the "BMW Club", and the brand's vehicles will also be present during matches. BMW will also be the title sponsor of at least one fixture per year of the Earthquakes scheduled at Levi's Stadium (68,500 seats), the home of the NFL (US League of American football) San Francisco 49ers.

Avaya (telecom) acquires stadium naming rights for €1.5m per year until 2024

  • Avaya, a telecom company, acquired the naming rights of the new home of the San Jose Earthquakes (MLS, USA-CAN), announced the club on 19/11/2014.
  • The enclosure (capacity 18,000) will be inaugurated in March 2015 during the launch of the new MLS season.
  • The contract is valued at €1.5m per year until the end of the 2024 season.
  • Avaya will provide technology services to the stadium, including Wi-Fi solutions.
