Parc des Princes: €153m in matchday revenue 2022-23 (2^nd in the Top 5) despite its capacity (26^th)

Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, president of Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), announced on 08/02/2024 that he wanted the club to leave the Parc des Princes, the day after the Conseil de Paris (Council of Paris) adopted several wishes concerning the Porte d'Auteuil stadium, starting with the reaffirmation that it belongs to the Ville de Paris and the desire to adapt the stadium to PSG's needs as part of a plan that satisfies all parties but does not involve selling it.

Paris Saint-Germain, which was once a candidate to acquire the Stade de France and which, according to its president, would have three alternatives in the event of leaving its historic stadium, would like to play in a stadium with a higher capacity than the current 47,929-capacity Parc des Princes, which could be increased to between 55,000 and 60,000 by carrying out works.

This capacity would put the Porte d'Auteuil stadium in 26^th place (out of 94) among those in the European Top 5 leagues in 2023-24. In terms of attendance, PSG have the 21^st best home attendance in 2023-24 (as at 09/02/2024), with 47,070 spectators.
