LALIGA EA Sports: 29,532 visitors in 18 matchdays for the 17 clubs linked by a collective agreement

An agreement between 17 clubs for a maximum ticket price in the visitors' stand has resulted in 29,532 tickets being sold during the first 18 matches of the 2023-24 LALIGA EA Sports season, according to LALIGA on 12/02/2024.

The agreement, which consists of a minimum of 300 seats being reserved for visiting fans at a maximum admission price of €30, has resulted in an average ticket price of €29.6 for away fans.

Of the 131 matches involved in the Spanish league's first 18 matchdays, demand for 44 of them exceeded the total number of tickets on offer for visitors. The Basque derby between Real Sociedad and Athletic Club Bilbao was the match with the highest demand, with demand 730% higher than the number of tickets offered at the price stipulated in the agreement.

Sevilla FC was the club offering the most most tickets at a capped price for visiting fans, with an average of 602 tickets per match, ahead of Athletic Club Bilbao (550) and Real Betis Balompié (531).

Finally, Real Betis Balompié and Club Atlético de Madrid fans bought the most tickets, 3,100 per club, ahead of Cádiz CF (2,819).
