Paris Basketball: "A target of €8m in ticket sales at the adidas arena over a season" (M. Priez)

"Ticketing constitutes a major part of our total revenue (€6.47m budget in 2022-23, €9.25m according to the 2023-24 forecast). It represents a target of over €3.2m for the 2023-24 season, a figure we hope to increase to €8m over a full season at the adidas arena. We will now have the capacity to sell many more tickets, which is what we do when we relocate games to the Accor Arena (Paris, 12^th arrondissement) or Roland-Garros (Paris, 16^th arrondissement)," said Mathias Priez, deputy general manager of Paris Basketball (Betclic Élite) on 14/02/2024.

Paris Basketball inaugurated the adidas arena at Porte de la Chapelle (Paris, 18^th arrondissement) when it hosted Saint-Quentin Basket-Ball (87-65, Betclic Élite) on 11/02/2024. By becoming the resident club of the venue, which belongs to the Ville de Paris and is operated by Paris Entertainment Company, Paris Basket has gone from a commercial capacity of 3,900 seats at the Halle Georges-Carpentier (Paris, 13^th arrondissement) to 8,000 seats in this arena built for the Paris 2024 Games.
