UEFA: Premier League clubs' revenues as high as those of Spanish & German clubs combined

The 2022 revenues of the 20 Premier League clubs (€6.45bn, or €323m on average per club) are as high as those of the Spanish clubs (LALIGA EA Sports, 20 clubs, €3.3bn) and the German clubs (Bundesliga, 18 clubs, €3.2bn) combined. This is one of the most spectacular findings of "The European Club Finance and Investment Landscape", published by UEFA on 14/02/2024.

The Premier League clubs' revenues are also on a par with those of the 642 first division clubs in the rest of Europe outside the Top 5 (i.e. 50 of the 55 countries affiliated to UEFA).

"Of these 642 clubs, 20 have won European Cups in the past," explained the European Confederation.
