Bundesliga: Setanta Sports extends its media rights for 10 territories over the 2025-2029 cycle

The Irish pay-TV group Setanta Sports has extended its exclusive broadcasting rights to the Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga for 10 territories in Europe and Central Asia over the 2025-2029 cycle (four seasons), announced Bundesliga International, the DFL subsidiary responsible for the commercial rights (audiovisual, sponsorship, marketing, digital) of Germany's top two divisions internationally, on 16/02/2024.

The territories covered by the agreement are Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. Setanta has held the broadcasting rights to Germany's top two divisions in these territories since the 2015-16 season.

The group has also acquired the broadcasting rights for the Bundesliga and 2.Bundesliga in Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia with immediate effect and until the end of the 2024-25 season.
