CSR: £1.6bn invested by the Premier League in community projects over the 2022-2025 cycle

The Premier League plans to invest £1.6bn (€1.9bn) in community programmes and football development over the 2022-2025 cycle, according to the body on 13/02/2024. At the same time, the league unveiled the "More than a Game" campaign, which aims to highlight the impact and beneficiaries of its various CSR programmes.

As part of this initiative, the English governing body has asked each of its clubs (in the Premier League, EFL and National League) to nominate a "community captain", "somebody at the heart of their Premier League-funded programmes who deserves recognition for their commitment and contribution to the game and society". These captains will be promoted on the social networks of the Premier League and its clubs over the next two matchdays of the English top flight (17 to 26/02/2024), during which the "More than a Game" campaign will also be visible in stadiums for Premier League matches.
