Barclays Women's Super League: a record 60,160 spectators for Arsenal-Manchester United

60,160 spectators were present at the Emirates Stadium (London, ENG) for Arsenal FC's 3-1 win over Manchester United FC on Matchday 14 of the 2023-24 Barclays Women's Super League on Saturday 17/02/2024. This first ever sold-out match for Arsenal's women's team at the stadium represents a new attendance record for the English women's league.

It is the third time this record has been broken during the 2023-24 season, each time at the Emirates Stadium. The previous record was set during Arsenal's 4-1 win over Chelsea FC on Sunday 10/12/2023, which drew 59,042 spectators.

The highest attendance for a domestic women's club competition in England, however, was 77,390 at Wembley Stadium (90,000 capacity, London) for the final of the Adobe Women's FA Cup 2023, which saw Chelsea FC defeat Manchester United FC 1-0 on Sunday 14/05/2023.

In terms of international competitions, the final of the 2022 Women's Euro (England beat Germany 2-1) drew 87,192 spectators, again at Wembley Stadium, on 31/07/2022.
