LALIGA: opening of a pop-up store with the OTT platform DAZN in Madrid (ESP) until 25/02/2024

LALIGA, in collaboration with the OTT sports platform DAZN, has opened a pop-up store offering a range of activities in Madrid (ESP) from Tuesday 20 to Sunday 25/02/2024.

The shop, open daily from 15:00 to 20:00, was inaugurated on Monday 19/02 in the presence of Javier Tebas, president of the Spanish League, and Bosco Aranguren, general manager of DAZN in Spain. "This activation by LALIGA and DAZN symbolises the power of our football to mobilise the public around our ecosystem so that they can live the LALIGA experience hand in hand with our partners," said Tebas. DAZN holds the domestic media rights to five LALIGA EA Sports games per matchday over the 2022-2027 cycle (on 35 of the 38 matchdays, see below).

Among the activities offered in this temporary space:
• encounters with professional LALIGA EA Sports players such as Radamel Falcao (COL, Rayo Vallecano de Madrid) and Borja Mayoral (ESP, Getafe CF)
• matches on the EA SPORTS FC 24 video game against Spanish esports players such as Ander 'Neat' Tobal and Daniel Aguilar
• a photocall modelled on the DAZN interviews with Spanish…
