2023-24 Champions League: head-to-head SSC Napoli - FC Barcelona (Round of 16, 1^st leg, 21/02/2024)

With a brand valued at €1.37bn in June 2023 by the American company Brand Finance, FC Barcelona (LALIGA EA Sports) occupy 3^rd place in the "Football 50 2023" ranking by the strategy and brand valuation consultancy, while SSC Napoli (Serie A TIM) are in 18^th place, as the two clubs prepare to face each other in the first leg of their 2023-24 Champions League Round of 16 tie at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona (Napoli, ITA) on Wednesday 21/02/2024 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).

According to Deloitte, the Catalan club's turnover in 2022-23 stood at €801m, three times more than that of the reigning Italian champions (€267m). Barcelona's dominance is even clearer on social networks, with 319 million followers as at 01/02/2024 (on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X), 19 times more than their rivals (16.8 million).
