United States/MLS: JPMorgan Chase (bank) acquires naming rights to Inter Miami's stadium

JPMorgan Chase & Co, an American holding company specialised in financial services, has acquired the naming rights to the stadium of Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami (MLS) as part of a "multi-year partnership" starting with the 2024 season, announced the franchise on 20/02/2024. The stadium will be known as Chase Stadium.

The agreement covers at least the next two seasons, before the team inaugurates Miami Freedom Park, its future stadium on which work began on 29/08/2023. The 25,000-seater stadium is due to open in 2025. Lionel Messi's (ARG) current club did not specify whether the agreement with JPMorgan Chase, the first signed by the American group with a football club, will also cover this new stadium.

The Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale (Florida, USA), which has a capacity of 21,000, was named "DRV PNK Stadium" for the 2021-2023 season as part of an agreement between the Miami club and American car retailer AutoNation. For its part, JPMorgan Chase is also the namer of the Chase Center in San Francisco (California, USA), home of the Golden State Warriors (NBA).
