Serie A TIM: Sport TV extends exclusive broadcasting rights in Portugal over the 2024-2027 cycle

The Portuguese pay-TV group Sport TV has extended its exclusive broadcasting rights, in Portugal, to the Serie A TIM for the 2024-2027 cycle, on 25/02/2024.

Sport TV has held the broadcasting rights to the Italian league in this territory since 2015. The group also holds the TV rights, in Portugal, to the Champions League (2024-2027), the Europa League (until 2027) and the Europa Conference League (until 2027).

The Lega Serie A had previously stated that the media rights to the Serie A TIM had been allocated in certain European countries, including Portugal, on 20/11/2023. "The list of assignees will be announced at a later date, once the necessary contractual formalities have been completed," added the Italian body at the time.
