Bundesliga: Puma to succeed Nike as RB Leipzig's equipment supplier from the 2024-25 season

German brand Puma is to become the official equipment supplier of RB Leipzig (Bundesliga) as part of a "long-term agreement" from the 2024-25 season, announced the club on 27/02/2024.

The German equipment manufacturer will succeed its American rival Nike, which is committed to RB Leipzig for the 2014-2024 cycle (ten seasons) for an annual fee of €3m. The value of the new agreement with Puma has not been communicated. Under the agreement, the brand based in Herzogenaurach (Germany) will benefit from advertising rights within the Red Bull Arena (Leipzig, Germany) and the German club's academy, and will also develop "digital activations" aimed at its supporters.

Puma is committed to 12 of the 96 clubs in the European Top 5 in 2023-24 (12.5%), including three Bundesliga sides: Borussia Dortmund (2012-2028), promoted side FC Heidenheim (since 2022-23) and Borussia Mönchengladbach, whose contract expires at the end of the season.
