Tennis/ITF: Kerstin Lutz to leave TEAM Marketing & become CEO of Billie Jean King Cup Limited

Kerstin Lutz has been appointed CEO of Billie Jean King Cup Limited (BKJ Cup Ltd), the company that manages the commercialisation of the marketing and media rights to the Billie Jean King Cup, announced the company formed in August 2023 from the joint venture between the International Tennis Federation and the sports, media and entertainment arm of US investment fund TWG Global on 26/02/2024. She will assume her new role in April 2024.

Kris Dent, executive director of the ITF since 2012, has been appointed COO of BKJ Cup Ltd, which will be chaired by Ilana Kloss.

Kerstin Lutz, currently managing director business development at Swiss agency TEAM Marketing, and Kris Dent will lead the day-to-day operations of BJK Cup Ltd, "which focuses on the commercial, broadcast and fan growth of the Billie Jean King Cup."

This commercial company "is looking to effectively leverage the premier women's tennis team competition as a platform for women's professional development programmes in leadership, officiating and coaching," explained BJK Cup Ltd.
