France/Arcom: launch of a call for applications for the renewal of 15 DTT frequencies on 28/02/2024

Arcom will launch a call for applications for the renewal of 15 DTT frequencies on Wednesday 28/02/2024. This is the largest DTT frequency allocation process since the launch of DTT in March 2005.

This concerns the frequencies currently occupied by the following channels:
• C8, CNews, CStar, Canal+, Canal+ Sport, Canal+ Cinéma and Planète+ (Canal+ group);
• TMC, TFX, LCI (TF1 group);
• W9, Gulli, Paris Première (M6 group);
• NRJ 12 (NRJ group);
• BFM TV (Altice Media, subsidiary of Altice France).

The licences for C8, W9, TMC, TFX, NRJ12, LCI and Paris Première will expire on 28/02/2025, those for Canal+ on 05/06/2025 and those for BFM TV, CNews, CStar, Gulli, Canal+ Sport, Canal+ Cinéma and Planète+ on 31/08/2025.
