NBA: a change of logo & graphic identity for the Los Angeles Clippers from 2024-25

The Los Angeles Clippers (NBA) have presented their new graphic identity on 26/02/2024. This new graphic charter will be applied to the Californian franchise's branding and communications assets from 2024-25, the season in which the Clippers will inaugurate their new arena, the Intuit Dome built in Inglewood in the suburbs of Los Angeles.

The Clippers, whose name means "Sailors", unveiled the design of their logo as well as their future jerseys, their court and a new "claim" (brand signature): "Make Waves".

The new corporate identity blends "the team's past, present, and focus on the future in a familiar but elevated colorway of naval blue, ember red, and Pacific blue," explained the American franchise, which wanted to reconnect with its naval origins by referring to the Port of San Diego (California), where the Clippers were resident between 1978 and 1984, after moving in 1978 from Buffalo in New York State, where the franchise was born in 1970.
