Formula 1: DHL (logistics) extends as global partner of Formula One Group from 2024

DHL, the logistics subsidiary of Germany's Deutsche Post DHL Group, is to continue as a global partner of Formula One Group as part of a "a multi-year extension" from 2024, announced the body on 27/02/2024.

DHL has been the "official logistics partner" of the Formula 1 World Championship since 2004, and is in fact the brand with the longest current global partnership agreement with F1. Nine other groups stand alongside it at the highest level of the Formula 1 sponsorship hierarchy, including Dutch brewer Heineken and shipping company MSC Croisières, which extended their respective agreements in 2023.

As part of the extended agreement, DHL retains the naming rights to the DHL Fastest Lap Award and the DHL Fastest Pit Stop Award, which recognise the fastest lap and pit stop respectively in each season. The two partners will also continue to "identify innovative solutions to operate more sustainably" and further reduce logistics-related carbon emissions as part of Formula One Group's "Net Zero" strategy, which aims to achieve a net zero carbon footprint by 2030.
