Formula 1: beIN Media Group acquires broadcasting rights in MENA and Turkey (2024-2033)

The Qatari pay-TV group beIN Media Group has acquired the exclusive full broadcasting rights for the MENA zone and Turkey to the Formula 1 World Championship over the 2024-2033 cycle (ten seasons), announced Formula One Group on 28/02/2024.

The agreement includes the broadcasting of all free practice sessions, qualifying sessions, sprint races and Grand Prix events on beIN channels and its Tod streaming platform. "A key pillar of this deal is the formation of a regional content production partnership that will see beIN and Formula 1 work closely together to develop localised content for the MENA region, across different formats and platforms to better engage and grow the F1 fanbase. More than 50% of new fans in MENA started following the sport in the last four years," explained Formula One Group.

The broadcasting rights for Formula 1 in the MENA region were previously held by the MBC Group for the 2019-2023 cycle.
