The 2024 Formula 1 World Championship season, which will see Dutchman Max Verstappen and his team Oracle Red Bull Racing defend their titles for the third consecutive season, kicks off with the Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix at the Sakhir International Circuit from Thursday 29/92 to Saturday 02/03/2024.

The 10 teams competing will take part in a record 24 races, the number originally scheduled for 2023 before the cancellation of the Chinese and Emilia Romagna Grands Prix, respectively due to health restrictions linked to the Covid-19 pandemic and flooding. The season will end as usual with the Abu Dhabi GP, scheduled for 08/12/2023. Three races will be held on a Saturday, in Bahrain, Jeddah (09/03) and Las Vegas (23/11), while no new circuits will be inaugurated this season. Six sprint races (shortened race format) will also be on the programme, the same number as in 2023.
