Liverpool FC: turnover stable at £594m & pre-tax loss of £9m in 2022-23

Liverpool FC (Premier League) has reported a turnover of £594m (€686m on 31/05/2023) for the 2023 financial year (01/06/2022 to 31/05/2023), a stable result compared with the 2022 financial year (£594m/€698m on 31/05/2022), announced the club on 28/02/2024. LFC also posted a pre-tax loss of £9m (€10.4m), compared with a profit of £7.5m (€8.81m) in 2021-22.

While commercial revenues increased from £257m to £272m (€314m) in 2022-23, TV rights revenues fell to £242m (€279.7m) from £261m in 2021-22. This decrease is due to the reduction in the allocation received from UEFA. The club was eliminated in the Round of 16 of the 2022-23 Champions League, having reached the final of the previous edition.
