FC Barcelona: Cupra (car manufacturer, ESP) extends as global partner for 5 seasons (2024-2029)

Cupra, a Spanish car manufacturer belonging to the German group Volkswagen, has extended its partnership with FC Barcelona (LALIGA EA Sports) as its "automotive and mobility" partner and "official car" for an additional five seasons (2024-2029), announced the Catalan club on 29/02/2024.

Cupra, an independent manufacturer since February 2018 but still owned by Seat (which belongs to Volkswagen), has the status of global partner, the second level in the club's sponsorship hierarchy. Cupra took over in 2019 from German car manufacturer Audi, the club's automotive partner between 2006 and 2019, providing an estimated annual contribution of €5m in 2018-19.

Cupra's partnership, which until now has only covered Barça's football team, has been extended to all the club's other professional sections (basketball, roller hockey, handball and futsal).

As part of the agreement, Cupra "will be present as one of the official sponsors in Espai Barça (a project to modernise the club's infrastructure). To reinforce the brand's international impact, the Cupra logo will be present on the right sleeve of…
