FIFA World Cup 2034: official launch of Saudi Arabia's bid

Saudi Arabia has officially launched its bid campaign to host the FIFA World Cup 2034 under the slogan "Growing, Together" on 01/03/2024.

The country from the Arabian Peninsula had publicly indicated its intention to host the 2034 World Cup on 04/10/2023 and has been the only country in the running since Australia announced its withdrawal on 31/10/2023, the deadline set by FIFA for declarations of interest. The designation of the host countries for the 2030 and 2034 World Cups is scheduled to take place "by Q4 2024", as stated by the International Federation at the time.

"Over the last six years Saudi Arabia has successfully hosted over 100 international events across almost 40 sports and is in active football partnerships with more than 100 countries. The campaign slogan aims to capture the spirit of that bond, as the Kingdom, its people and world football help build a better future," explained the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), which also presented the visual identity for its bid, as well as a video clip and a dedicated website.
